Dr. Alyssa Arms is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist based in Colorado. As the owner of Back in Step Physical Therapy, she specializes in dance medicine, combining her clinical expertise with over 35 years of personal dance training in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and West Coast Swing.

Beyond her clinic, Dr. Arms is a Clinical Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado and a guest instructor for the University of Northern Colorado’s Dance Education MA program. She is passionate about empowering educators with evidence-based strategies to keep dancers healthy, resilient, and on stage.
